About the Golf Course
The par 72, 6,586 yard championship course at Vipingo Ridge has been designed by former Kenya Open winner David Jones.
The only PGA accredited golf course in Africa and host venue for the Magical Kenya Ladies Open on the European Tour offers dramatic coastal views from the iconic clubhouse overlooking the 9th and 18th holes.
The 18 hole championships golf course is surrounded by natural bush landscapes which come in to play on many of the holes.
A system of inter-connected lakes and streams meanders through the golf course which provides golfers an interesting challenge but still allows players of all abilities to enjoy the natural challenges of the golf course.
Thousands of native trees lend character and beauty to the course design, including the iconic coastal Baobabs, the native Kenyan tree from which the golf course takes its name.
An abundance of wildlife roam freely across the golf course, with giraffe, zebra, eland, wildebeast, oryx and gazelle often being seen by players during their rounds.
Supported by three putting greens and the largest driving range in Kenya, the PGA Baobab Course at Vipingo Ridge is undoubtedly amongst the finest golf experiences available on the African continent.
